PIPA Informs

II SMIPA registration is now open

Registrations are open for the II Seminário Brasileiro de Saúde Materno Infantil (SMIPA), which will bring together students, faculty, researchers, and health professionals to discuss research related to the effects of exposure to environmental pollutants on maternal and child health.

This edition will be held on October 27, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the Academia Nacional de Medicina, in downtown Rio de Janeiro. By bringing together national experiences, the event aims to foster the development of strategies for implementing surveillance and health care actions focused on the child population from pregnancy onward.

The event is held by the School of Medicine and the Teaching Maternity Hospital of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) with sponsorship from the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes)
