Maternidade Escola hosts I Scientific Symposium of PIPA/UFRJ

The event will present ongoing investigations carried out by researchers involved in the project

A Maternidade Escola da UFRJ recebe, no dia 25 de julho, o I Simpósio Científico – Projeto Infância e Poluentes Ambientais, o PIPA/UFRJ. O evento ocorrerá das 9h às 16h, no Auditório Nobre da Maternidade Escola da UFRJ, localizado na Rua das Laranjeiras, 180, Rio de Janeiro.

The symposium's main objective is to contribute to theoretical development and research on environmental pollutants and their impacts on maternal and child health, presenting ongoing investigations carried out by the researchers involved, and also discussing strategies for Communication and Scientific Outreach of these results.

The free event is open to undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, researchers from other institutions, health professionals and managers, and anyone interested in the topic.
