PIPA/UFRJ takes part in Ministry of Health event bringing together the country's leading cohort studies

PIPA UFRJ was invited to the event because of the relevance and novelty of its research focused on assessing exposure to environmental pollutants and their effects on health and development in the pediatric population. Prof. Dr. Carmen Ildes Rodrigues Fróes Asmus, project coordinator, delivered the lecture "Longitudinal study of effects associated with environmental pollutants on child health," in which she presented the project's preliminary results.

These moments are marked by intense exchange of experiences among researchers in the field, and PIPA/UFRJ is honored to be present in a space where strengthening public policies to address contemporary health challenges is discussed.
