First Reunion with PIPA

The first PIPA Reunion aimed to re-establish contact with families who had been absent from the follow-up assessments of the Birth Cohort – PIPA UFRJ. The Birth Cohort completed 2 years on June 17, 2023, and therefore it became essential to plan and promote a moment in which we could offer a welcoming space for these families, outside of the regular follow-up assessment days. Thus, an event involving the entire PIPA UFRJ team will be held, offering families spaces for dialogue, fun, and self-care, in addition to conducting the project assessments.

On August 5, 2023, the project team offered a program with self-care and health promotion activities, in addition to stations for evaluating the follow-up of the research. The program included: Interactive Station – ‘SDGs: a better world is possible’; Station – CliBin-OrSa Pediatric Dentistry-UFRJ Project with oral health care; Conversation Circle – Women's Mental Health; Auriculotherapy Space – CAP 2.1; Make-up Space – workshop; Kids' Space and Animal Yoga, as well as a coffee break area with a decorated cake to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the PIPA UFRJ Cohort. Seven families attended on this day.
